Clinical Psychologist – Achieve Beyond (Suffolk, NY)
Join a team of passionate therapists providing excellent pediatric therapy. We specialize in evaluating and providing ongoing services in homes, community, and clinic settings. Responsibilities
Administer psychological evaluations in home and/or school based settings.
Gather necessary information to conduct social histories.
Write comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories and submit them in a timely manner.
Write Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and/or Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) goals.
Determine need for additional assessments per observation and child needs.
Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child.
Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and State & Federal regulations) and submit records to agency within established deadlines.
Qualifications
Must have a passion for working with children and families.
Valid NYS Clinical Psychologist license.
Must be self‑motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or using public transportation such as a bus or train.
The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.
Compensation Per evaluation $130.00–$350.00. Base pay range $130.00/hr – $350.00/hr.
