We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Facilities Operations to lead facilities management services at a 73-bed acute care community hospital offering emergency care surgical services intensive care and several specialized care centers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of facilities operations including building maintenance system reliability and infrastructure support.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs
Ensure regulatory compliance with The Joint Commission OSHA NFPA and all local / state / federal standards.
Coordinate and manage capital improvement projects and renovations alongside hospital leadership and contractors.
Recruit train and lead a multidisciplinary technical team
Partner with hospital administration to support patient care objectives and operational goals.
Oversee emergency preparedness safety initiatives and sustainability efforts across facilities operations.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering Facilities Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in healthcare facilities management.
Demonstrated knowledge of The Joint Commission OSHA NFPA and related compliance standards.
Proven ability to manage capital projects and vendor relationships effectively.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance emergency repairs staff supervision and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. The role may also involve oversight of construction projects and related business services such as groundskeeping security and logistics.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience)
5 years of management and functional facilities experience
Strong technical and leadership background within healthcare settings
Deep understanding of compliance safety and operational excellence
