We are seeking a collaborative and experienced Director of Commercial Training & Development to lead onboarding and continuous learning initiatives for our commercial teams in the post‑transplant diagnostics space. Key Responsibilities
Design, deliver, and maintain comprehensive onboarding programs specifically for Transplant Account Managers, Community Account Managers, and Solutions Account Managers. Ensure new hires are trained in company culture, product portfolio, clinical data, selling skills, and compliance standards. Collaborate with HR, Sales Leadership, and Medical Affairs to ensure onboarding reflects business priorities and clinical relevance. Monitor onboarding effectiveness and continuously refine content and delivery methods. Develop and execute ongoing training programs to enhance product knowledge, selling capabilities, and clinical acumen. Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Field Leadership to identify learning needs and deliver targeted training interventions. Facilitate workshops, virtual training sessions, and field coaching to reinforce learning and drive performance. Work closely with the Senior Director of Commercial Training & Development to align training initiatives with strategic priorities. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Sales Leadership, Marketing, Medical Affairs & Clinical Education, Compliance, HR & Talent Development to ensure training content is practical, relevant, and impactful. Conduct training needs analysis, create engaging, scientifically accurate training content using adult learning principles and modern instructional design. Leverage digital platforms (LMS, virtual training tools) to scale learning across geographies and roles. Maintain and update training materials to reflect new product launches, clinical data, and market dynamics. Track training effectiveness through KPIs, feedback, and performance metrics; conduct field rides to gauge behavior change and analyze performance gaps. Continuously improve training programs based on learner feedback, business outcomes, and field insights. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MEd, or life sciences) preferred. 7+ years of experience in commercial roles, including sales or sales leadership in diagnostics, medical devices, or life sciences. 4+ years of experience in training & development, preferably in a clinical or diagnostics setting. Strong understanding of transplant medicine, diagnostic workflows, and healthcare provider dynamics. Expertise in instructional design, adult learning theory, and sales enablement best practices. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience with LMS platforms, virtual training tools, and performance analytics. Preferred Attributes
Experience in post‑transplant diagnostics or related therapeutic areas (e.g., nephrology, rare disease, immunology, cardiology, pulmonology, hematology). Ability to translate complex clinical data into actionable commercial training. Collaborative, proactive, and passionate about improving patient care through education. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, matrixed, and mission‑driven environment. Compensation & Benefits
