Director of Sales and Marketing - Legacy of Lexington
Legacy of Lexington is seeking a high‑performing Senior Living Sales & Marketing Director. You will lead all sales and marketing activity, including community engagement, referral outreach, lead generation, inquiry handling, tours, and closing. The role supports prospective residents and families as they evaluate senior care options, helping them understand that Navion is the best senior housing solution. The Director will hit annual targets, build relationships, and stay attuned to customer trends. Legacy of Lexington has partnered with Tapcheck, revolutionizing how team members get paid. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive occupancy success. Establish a monitoring system for marketing and sales program effectiveness. Plan and execute marketing activities and community events. Monitor and maintain budget. Collaborate with Executive Director and Resident Services Director Manager to determine advertising needs and implementation. Meet monthly sales activity standards, including follow‑up calls, professional sales calls, event planning, and monthly lead bank mailings. Ensure the community meets move‑in and census goals each month, or identify barriers. Respond to and follow up on inquiries in a positive and timely manner. Develop a strong network of professional and agency referral sources. Host and attend community events, fostering positive relations. Research and maintain local competition information (rates, specials, services). Implement and monitor a move‑in system to ensure resident records are complete before admission. Maintain new residents and inquiries in the Move‑In database. Prepare and distribute mailings to prospective and current residents. Communicate effectively with team members about move‑in activity and resident/family needs. Complete weekly and quarterly census reports. Select and order promotional supplies while staying within budget. Schedule presentations with prospective residents and families, ensuring accuracy. Support DCS/RCC or designee in the assessment process to determine eligibility for resident occupancy. Requirements
Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets. Proven ability to drive the sales process from inquiry to close. Proven ability to articulate Navion senior solutions offerings. Ability to position Navion against competitors. Team‑player who promotes a collaborative environment. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Benefits
