Our client is seeking a

Senior Technical Accountant

to join their external reporting and technical accounting team. The role is integral to preparing financial reports, supporting SEC filings, and contributing to the company’s overall accounting and reporting strategy. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a dynamic environment. This is a hands‑on role for someone who brings both technical depth and strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities

Prepare assigned sections of SEC filings (10‑K, 10‑Q, etc.), including financial statements, footnotes, cash flow statements, and supporting documentation. Assist in the preparation of disclosure and audit committee materials. Help develop and maintain effective processes for external financial reporting and coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely filings. Monitor new accounting and regulatory developments, evaluate their impact, and communicate implications to management. Serve as a technical accounting resource for complex or non‑routine transactions. Research and document conclusions on U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting matters; draft position papers and recommend process improvements. Support M&A accounting, including purchase accounting, due diligence, and post‑transaction integration. Contribute to recurring technical topics such as share‑based compensation, goodwill and intangible impairment testing, and other specialized areas. Participate in Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance efforts, collaborating with internal stakeholders and process owners. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred (or CPA eligibility in progress). Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit. Big Four public accounting experience required. Experience with a large organization (revenue of $1B+ preferred). Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and internal control environments. Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills. Seniority level
