A Snapshot of Your Day As a Senior Systems Application Engineer, you will enhance auxiliary systems for centrifugal compressors, driving innovative solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.
How You’ll Make An Impact
Review client and Siemens requirements for system upgrades and engineer cost‑effective solutions.
Perform calculations for the design of centrifugal compressor auxiliary support systems.
Issue RFQs to sub‑vendors and select the best options based on design fit, price, and lead time. Review and approve sub‑vendor diagrams and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards. Prepare Siemens Upgrade Proposals with clear wording, accurate pricing, and lead times.
Support other Siemens personnel including Compressor Revamp Marketing, Technical Services, and Field Sales regarding compressor auxiliary systems problems and requests for assistance.
Conduct site audits and develop reports with recommendations for system upgrades.
Develop and implement training material and tools for your team members to spread basic systems knowledge so other team members can perform basic analysis and calculations of existing systems, considering potential system modifications.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree or associate degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience in centrifugal compressor auxiliary systems. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level.
In‑depth knowledge of API‑614 and familiarity with API‑617, ASME Section 8, and ANSI B31.3.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to complete assignments in a timely manner. Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
Experience in developing training materials to enhance team knowledge of systems.

Compensation For positions based in the United States, the base salary range is $84,000 to $137,700 annually, with an annual incentive target of 10% of the base salary.
