We are seeking a mission‑driven Salesforce Administrator to support our organization’s implementation and ongoing management of Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC). This role will be essential to ensuring a smooth launch and successful adoption across teams. The Salesforce Administrator will configure and maintain Salesforce, develop reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights, and support the integration of Salesforce to other tools. Partnering closely with fundraising, marketing and finance staff, this position will help streamline key development processes, ensuring Salesforce serves as a trusted source of truth for fundraising, donor engagement, and financial data. The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce technical skills with a deep understanding of nonprofit fundraising operations and leverages AI‑enabled features and automation to help teams work smarter and strengthen relationships with donors and partners.

Responsibilities

Manage daily administration of Salesforce: user setup, roles, permissions, and data security.

Configure custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, flows, and validation rules.

Implement and optimize Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) features for fundraising and donor management.

Maintain sandbox and development environments, supporting testing and deployment of new functionality.

Build and maintain reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for fundraising, donor stewardship, and program delivery.

Partner with leadership to define key metrics and KPIs for tracking organizational performance.

Leverage Salesforce Einstein AI and other AI tools to surface trends, donor engagement opportunities, and predictive insights.

Connect Salesforce to other nonprofit tools (e.g., GoFundMe Pro, Sage Intacct, marketing automation tools) to streamline operations.

Manage data integrity with regular audits, deduplication, and validation processes.

Support AI‑based integrations and automation for smoother workflows.

Oversee core development processes, including gift entry, acknowledgment letters, and tribute management.

Partner with individual giving, major gifts, and marketing teams to optimize workflows for donor cultivation and stewardship.

Ensure prospect management and pipeline tracking are accurate and actionable.

Identify opportunities to automate recurring fundraising tasks using Salesforce and AI tools.

Document and standardize processes across fundraising, finance, and communications teams.

Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce support and troubleshooting.

Provide training, resources, and documentation to empower staff and ensure Salesforce adoption.

Translate program and fundraising needs into technical requirements and practical solutions.

Requirements

4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.

Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM‑201).

Hands‑on experience with NPC in a nonprofit environment.

Strong understanding of nonprofit fundraising processes (gift processing, acknowledgments, donor stewardship).

Strong reporting and dashboard‑building skills.

Knowledge of Salesforce Flows, automation, and security best practices.

Familiarity with system integrations and third‑party tools.

Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Experience using Salesforce AI tools (Einstein, GPT, or other AI‑enabled features).

Additional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder) are a plus.
