Senior Medical Lab Scientist 8 AM to 4:30 PM, M-F We offer a generous sign‑on bonus of $10,000 to eligible candidates. Role and Responsibilities

Select test methodology appropriate for clinical use. Verify procedures and establish performance characteristics, including precision and accuracy. Ensure enrollment in a CMS‑approved proficiency testing program and timely return of results. Establish and maintain quality control programs and analytic performance parameters. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, maintaining corrective actions. Prevent reporting of patient results until corrective actions are complete. Provide training, competency assessment, and ongoing education to staff. Document technical performance and competency evaluations annually. Operate instruments, perform routine maintenance, function checks, and calibrations. Perform qualitative and quantitative tests per laboratory policies. Participate in QA/QI activities, proficiency testing, and regulatory readiness activities. Support clinical manager and supervisors in training programs and new initiatives. Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related science. ASCP certification or equivalent required. Clinical laboratory experience: 4 or more years in a clinical hematology or core laboratory. Additional Job Details
