Role Overview As an
AP/AR Accountant
you will take ownership of
end-to-end accounting operations , supporting
AP, AR, and GL activities . You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, improving accounting processes, and ensuring smooth daily operations that keep our organization running at its best.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable: review, code, and process invoices accurately while maintaining vendor master data and payment records.
Oversee full-cycle Accounts Receivable: generate and issue invoices, apply customer payments, and follow up on outstanding balances to support timely cash flow.
Support month-end and year-end close: prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Maintain and reconcile financial accounts: verify accuracy of vendor, customer, and GL balances, resolving discrepancies as needed.
Assist with tax and compliance reporting: provide supporting documentation for U.S. and Canadian sales and use tax filings, audits, and financial reviews.
Collaborate cross-functionally: partner with Finance, Treasury, Sales, and Operations teams to align on billing, payments, and reporting timelines.
Contribute to process improvement: identify and implement opportunities to strengthen internal controls and streamline accounting workflows.
Support audit readiness: maintain organized records and assist with audit requests to ensure compliance and transparency.
Qualifications
2–3 years of accounting experience in a high-tech or manufacturing environment.
Proven experience managing full-cycle AP and AR processes.
Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle or NetSuite.
Familiarity with month-end close, sales/use tax, and account reconciliations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
Strong communicator who collaborates effectively across teams and departments.
Able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptable, curious, and eager to continuously improve processes and learn new systems.
Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
