Job Summary Provides maintenance and operational support for the PeopleSoft Financials systems, including Grants suite through technical analysis and business knowledge of the PeopleSoft modules.

Supports FIU PeopleSoft Financials systems, including Grants suite.

Serves as backup for various PeopleSoft Financials modules such as General Ledger and Procurement. Demonstrates knowledge and functionality understanding in the assigned PeopleSoft modules.

Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves PeopleSoft Financials system related problems and errors to ensure the accuracy of business-critical systems.

With minimal support analyzes, designs and creates specifications for the PeopleSoft technical enhancements and new functions.

Under guidance of more senior team members, configures and maintains PeopleSoft on-line and batch applications, reports, queries and workflow.

Interacts with Database Administrators, Network and other PeopleSoft technical support groups to ensure timely problems' resolution.

Works and collaborates with Financials System Support Services and Research Information Systems to ensure Financials system stability and problems resolution.

Provides basic production support including problem analysis and resolution, on-call support, job scheduling and monitoring.

Documents processes to enable departmental staff to continue computer support to the related systems. Participates in the development of user and operational documentation.

Provides basic time and resources estimates and status reports. Conducts duties and responsibilities under the guidance and direction of senior personnel and/or management.

Serves as the merchant account's primary contact or technical contact; Handles sensitive cardholder information and/or processes credit cards transactions for the department/unit; Will have access to a third party system (software, gateway, etc.) that processes, transmits, and/or stores cardholder information.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, or related field. One (1) year of design and development experience with any ERP software such as PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Financials/Contracts & Grants, Human Capital Management, and Enterprise Portal.
