About the Role Provides leadership to a team of Corporate Account Managers, inspiring, developing and building a high‑performing organization focused on positioning Neurocrine as a strategic and collaborative company. Under this leadership the team develops corporate account strategy, segmentation, and operating plans to drive growth of Neurocrine’s products. The role requires business acumen & knowledge related to health systems, behavioral health provider groups, LTC and post‑acute settings, an analytical mindset and innovative problem‑solver to establish long‑term relationships. This includes identifying, cultivating and growing relationships with existing and/or new accounts that require a longer sales cycle commitment, such as integrated healthcare delivery networks, provider groups, telehealth organizations, LTC organizations and other organizations deemed appropriate targets based on our current and future marketed products.

Your Contributions

Develop strategic plans for identifying, segmenting, profiling, building and expanding relationships with named Corporate accounts

Oversees the assessment, expansion and development of all corporate accounts, provides customer service, and drives appropriate product use

Drives the development of business plans or engagement plans, and product and/or disease state programs to support sales in all corporate accounts

Leads effort to identify key decision makers/contacts and evaluates willingness to engage with Neurocrine

Leads and coaches team to execute business engagement plans, build relationships and maximize product pull‑through

Creates compelling customer analysis presentations from market intelligence partnering with various internal departments such as clinical physician liaisons, HEOR, Market Access, Marketing and Sales

Accountable for setting and meeting business goals including long‑term sales targets as well as other key sales / business objectives

Conducts regular business review sessions for team’s assigned corporate customers to understand state of the relationships, business and keeping team focused driving to meeting their goals

Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related Scientific Field and 12+ years experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry, including significant experience leading a key account management function. Experience selling to IDNs, Academic Hospital Centers, Community Hospitals, Government agencies (VA, DOD), Long‑term Care, Corrections Facilities or similar B2B environments. Successful track record in leader teams that identify, establish and foster strong and long‑term customer relationships OR

Master’s Degree and 10+ years of similar experience noted above

Exceptional relationship management skills

Good understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks for promotion, pharma industry guidelines and compliance issues

Proven ability to build relationships with various organizations such as integrated delivery networks (IDN’s), Academic Hospitals Centers, Community Hospital, VA, DoD, Long‑term Care (LTC), corrections facilities or similar B2Bs.

Creative ability in developing business/sales strategies and solutions and in presenting innovative solutions to customers

Proven ability to influence top clinical decision makers

Thorough understanding of multiple interdependencies within an account, consider customer treatment goals and needs, and maximize account performance by aligning appropriate solutions, messaging, and stakeholders

Recognized as an internal thought leader with extensive technical and business expertise within a strategic organization

Applies in-depth knowledge of own function, business / commercial / scientific expertise to solve critical issues successfully and innovatively

Evaluates key business / scientific challenges and completes complex, ambiguous initiatives having cross‑functional impact

Strong leadership skills to attract talented staff, build effective relationships, and keep the team focused on the key metrics that drive business success

Must be self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, decisive

Ability to quickly learn and think independently

Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with peers, management, and leadership both within and outside the Company

Excellent managerial skills and experience fostering career development of direct and indirect reports

Demonstrated ability to influence and lead others

Ability to work with a team of individuals to meet organizational goals

Salary and Benefits The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $192,500.00-$278,675.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. This position offers an annual bonus with a target of 35% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long‑term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
