Base pay range
$105,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Auria is looking to hire a Software Test Engineer to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. This role is ONSITE in either Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL. The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and regionally networks integrate, synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. This program is integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities. The candidate will support the Regional Apps cross-functional product teams in Colorado by developing and expanding the suite of automated tests run within the software development CI/CD pipelines during software development and upgrades. The candidate will actively participate in agile planning and execution activities. Some mentoring of less experienced team members may also be required. What the Team Requires

Current/active in-scope DoD issued SECRET security clearance. 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline
or a Master’s degree and 6 years of experience or a PhD and 4 years of experience or 12 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered
Will be able to develop automated test plug-ins for integration into the software development pipelines of a mature, software-intensive system currently being upgraded to add new capabilities Candidate skills should also include familiarity with DoD test methodologies, experience with automated test development and execution related to functional capabilities, as well as the ability to analyze automated test results and recommend updates to the software under test Ability to develop plug-ins for testing:
Java C++ or Fortran software and incorporate them into CI/CD pipelines
What the Team Prefers
A current active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher is highly preferred Experience preferred in software development within an Agile framework User interface development, messaging, external interfaces, simulation of MDS systems, and planning tool development Prior experience in developing automated tests for large software-intensive systems operating in classified environments Experience providing leadership and mentorship to less experienced team members involved in automated, tested development activities Pay Transparency
The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $105,000 - $130,000 Application Deadline
