Controller
to join our leadership team and oversee all financial operations of our Gift/Toy Representative Groups within the portfolio of companies. As the backbone of our financial integrity, this individual will lead accounting functions, cash flow management, and financial reporting—while supporting long-term growth through insightful analysis and sharp organization. This role is ideal for a driven professional with strong experience in payroll, 401K and healthcare plans, and internal controls. This position is based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and requires local residency. Key Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day accounting operations: A/P, A/R, payroll, GL, billing, and cost accounting Prepare and publish GAAP-compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting variances to leadership Establish and enforce internal controls and company accounting policies Oversee tax filings, compliance, and serve as the main point of contact for audits Analyze financial data to support pricing, capital decisions, and operations Optimize cash flow management and payment/collection cycles Mentor and lead accounting staff, fostering a collaborative culture Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred) 5–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership roles Proven experience with payroll, 401K plans, and healthcare administration Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Industry knowledge in gift/toy a plus Ready to join a fast-paced, people-first team in the heart of the gift/toy industry?
