The Senior Technical Specialist will be responsible for driving innovative DevOps solutions, designing robust AWS architecture, and developing applications in Java. The role requires a deep understanding of DevOps practices, AWS services, and Java programming to deliver efficient and scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities
Designing, implementing, and maintaining DevOps solutions to automate and streamline deployment processes. Architecting, implementing, and managing AWS cloud environments for scalability, reliability, and security. Developing high-quality Java applications to meet business requirements and technical specifications. Collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps, AWS, and Java solutions. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in DevOps pipelines, AWS infrastructure, and Java code. Monitoring system performance, optimizing configurations, and ensuring adherence to best practices in DevOps, AWS, and Java development. Skill Requirements
Proficiency in DevOps tools and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform. Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudFormation. Expertise in Java programming and frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or Apache Struts. Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in DevOps workflows. Solid understanding of networking, security, and performance optimization in AWS cloud environments. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment. Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Java SE Programmer certification preferred but not mandatory. Additional Responsibilities
Centralized DataHub Architecture: Design and implement a unified integration platform serving as a single point of data exchange across internal and external stakeholders. Legacy Modernization: Assess, refactor, and modernize legacy application flows to integrate seamlessly with cloud-native and SaaS-based ecosystems. SaaS Integration: Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of integrations between enterprise systems and modern third-party platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Platform Tool Evaluation: Analyze technical requirements and recommend the best-fit tools, platforms, and integration patterns for various use cases. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, define architecture roadmaps, and deliver actionable solutions. Architecture Governance: Establish and enforce best practices and standards to ensure compliance, performance, and security across the integration landscape. Team Leadership: Guide and mentor development teams, providing hands-on support and ensuring high-quality and timely solution delivery. Risk Management: Conduct architecture risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on delivery and operations. Innovation: Stay informed on emerging technologies, trends, and methodologies in data integration, cloud, and enterprise architecture. Documentation, Communication: Produce high-quality architectural artifacts, including diagrams, specifications, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
