Overview IT Strategic Sourcing Specialist Principal

will establish and drive procurement of IT Software, Services and Hardware in alignment with business leadership for your IT category globally as per the Annual Operating Plan and overall category Strategic Plan. You will have responsibility for driving competitive category supply strategies to achieve lowest total cost and highest quality for your category, reduced working capital via negotiation planning and execution, High Growth Region sourcing, Value Engineering, Consumption Reduction and Sole / Single Source elimination. You will also manage supplier performance to support your category and ensure supply continuity. You will be managing several projects in dynamic but fun work environment. You will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures and review legal contracts and documents. You will be involved in Merger, Acquisition and Divestiture projects.

Responsibilities

Drive and execute Procurement and Category Strategies as relates to the overall IT Category

Manage Supplier Selection, RFQ and RFI process, Negotiation, Contracting and supplier performance processes

Execute on purchasing projects assigned through the Procurement Intake tool from IT input to contracting, finance approval, purchase requisition to Purchase Order

Drive Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work from templates through redline process to execution and review of legal contracts and documents

Drive savings through understanding and modeling of various supplier savings plans, reserved instances and enterprise level discounts

Manage supplier Quarterly Business Reviews and drive a rigorous supplier scorecard process

Assist in Merger, Acquisition and Divestiture projects

Assist in Tactical Procurement escalations, reconciliations and reporting as required

Improve Working Capital through negotiation of Payment Terms extensions, Payment cycle optimization, Vendor Managed Inventories Inventory and Lead time reductions

Understand objectives of IT Service Owners in the area of software, cloud, services, data center infrastructure and translate into supporting supplier strategies

Manage Information Technology Category Strategies including Spend Analysis, Benchmarking, Cost, Market Analysis and Global Technology / Economic trends

Formulate and execute on Annual and Strategic Plans

Ensure Relationship development and management with key Supplier Leadership

Inventory and lead time reductions

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

Extensive experience (6+ years) in Contract Management and Negotiations

Strong Contract Management Experience

Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain

Experience with IT Commodity management, for example Engineering and Enterprise software (Siemens, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft)

Experience in RFPs/RFQs/RFIs

Demonstrated impact savings and improving working capital

WE VALUE

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business

Extensive experience in sourcing & procurement

Experience with Merger, Acquisition and Divestiture projects

Working and/or guiding in Matrix and complex Team Environments

Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience

Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management

Team guide experience in Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement/Business

Demonstrated Business and financial acumen

Experience with SAP, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools
