Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Contracts Management Specialist to join our team to support our Jeppesen and ForeFlight businesses. You’ll lead negotiations and manage complex contracts that support our global business. In this senior role, you’ll take the lead in external negotiations, partner with internal stakeholders, and provide innovative contractual solutions. Responsibilities
Lead Complex Negotiations: Take primary responsibility for negotiating and executing contracts, including sales, licensing, cooperation and a wide variety of other agreements. Represent Jeppesen & ForeFlight towards Customers: Serve as the lead negotiator in external engagements with diverse global customers. Shape Business Solutions: Present and develop innovative contractual solutions that drive growth and preserve Jeppesen’s and Foreflight’s business interests. Manage Contractual Risk: Summarize complex issues, develop mitigation strategies, and guide teams through risk management. Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead coordination across finance, legal, operations, and other functions to align contractual strategy. Assess & Mitigate Risk: Conduct contractual risk analyses, recommend solutions, and coordinate mitigation strategies. Balance Priorities: Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a global team environment. Mentor & Support Team: Share expertise and help build capability across the contracts team. Travel as Needed: Domestic and international travel may be required. Basic Qualifications
7+ years of experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong communication and negotiation skills in English (written and verbal). Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Ability to manage complex, high-pressure situations with sound judgment. Flexibility to collaborate across time zones. High standards of ethics, integrity, and collaboration. Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts JD (Juris Doctor) or equivalent international legal degree (e.g., LLB, LLM, BCL). Experience working with government and military contracts. Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex customer negotiations. Hybrid from Austin, TX preferred, (Hybrid from Denver, CO acceptable) About ForeFlight

Subject to final regulatory approvals and closing conditions, your employment may transfer to the divested business owned by Thoma Bravo at close. Additional details about this transition will be shared as they become available.
