As the Program Manager in the Planning and Development Department of Hamilton County, you will serve as the project or program manager of one or more related contract programs or grants; or as the administrative broker of services secured through external providers. Responsibilities include monitoring project and/or program performance, evaluating providers and implementing appropriate procedures to ensure quality and compliance. Summary of Job Duties: Manages competitive process for grant programs and contracts, including development of necessary documents and enforcement of terms and conditions. Ensure program activities are in compliance with appropriate laws and guidelines. Establish relationships with local jurisdictions, community leaders, stakeholders, etc. Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and agencies to support project delivery. Monitor, collect and analyze data related to program/project outcomes, prepare reports, and present findings to department leadership. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in public administration or related field Three (3) or more years of directly related experience including exposure to contract/grant administration. Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the program managed. Or equivalent combinations of education, training, and/or experience. Ability to obtain National Development Council certification (either Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP), Rental Housing Development Finance Professional (RHDFP), or Housing Development Finance Professional (HDFP)) within 24 months from date of hire.
