Civil Project Manager/Senior Civil Project Manager - Transportation
candidate for our
Transportation Design Group
located in our
Raleigh, NC
office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include but are not limited to: Managing assigned projects successfully and developing strong client relationships. Marketing and business development, ensuring technical quality, profitability, scheduling, coordinating project staff, communicating with clients, negotiating scopes and fees, billing, and assisting in fee collection. Maintaining excellent relationships with clients and cross-selling Timmons Group services beyond the candidate's direct expertise, with ongoing communication with the Office Manager and Transportation Group Leader. Managing several mid-sized projects, multiple small projects, or a single larger project simultaneously. Skills/Requirements
include but are not limited to: Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience. Professional registration (P.E., L.S., etc.) in one or more states where Timmons Group operates is preferred. 8 to 10 years of experience in roadway design, traffic, and transportation engineering, including projects for local Departments of Transportation (DOTs). Understanding of project accounting and ability to manage schedules and budgets across multiple projects. Experience in marketing and supervising technical staff. Knowledge of technical and office support software relevant to the role. Professional attitude towards clients and staff. Effective communication skills. Ability to build professional relationships and assist others in meeting deadlines. Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
