We typically hire project managers with experience in the following areas: Land Development (Residential, Commercial and Municipal/Government) Stormwater Wastewater Traffic & Transportation Environmental Structural Essential Duties and Responsibilities

of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: Design portions of a project using relevant office software Complete calculations using engineering formulas and skills and/or utilize computers to solve problems Prepare specifications and materials through research and manufacturing catalogs to specify materials, installation, inspection, and payment items specific to a project Work to complete design details and plan sets Perform research and write objective summary reports used in project work or inspections Assist in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates Complete field observation, inspection, and data collection duties as directed by senior engineering staff Communicate with client staff and internal design team as directed by senior engineering staff Skills/Requirements

of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field and/or equivalent work experience Professional registration (P.E., L.S., etc.) in one or more states where Timmons Group operates is preferred 15+ years of experience in civil engineering or a related technical profession 4+ years of project management experience Thorough understanding of project accounting and demonstrated ability to manage schedules and budgets for multiple projects Experience in marketing and supervising the technical work of others Knowledge of technical and office support software required for the position Professional attitude towards clients and staff Effective communication skills Willingness to help others meet deadlines Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle Additional Information The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
