About The Role We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management functions. The ideal candidate will be an SAP Super User with enhanced knowledge of manufacturing materials, engineering components, and supplier management, who can help optimize procurement processes, ensure data accuracy, and leverage SAP to drive efficiency and cost savings. This is a full‑time, on‑site role that requires close collaboration with production, design, and finance teams to ensure timely and cost‑effective material availability.
What You’ll Do
Oversee and manage end‑to‑end procurement operations, including sourcing, negotiation, purchase order creation, and vendor performance.
Serve as the SAP expert user, providing advanced support, training, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless usage across departments.
Analyze procurement data in SAP to identify cost‑saving opportunities, improve supplier performance, and enhance purchasing efficiency.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for raw materials, fabricated parts, and technical services aligned with production schedules and quality standards.
Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure reliability, cost competitiveness, and adherence to specifications.
Collaborate with engineering teams to qualify new suppliers and manage technical evaluations of materials and equipment.
Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and order accuracy using SAP reports and analytics.
Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, supplier relationships, and spend management.
Support audits, compliance reviews, and sustainability initiatives related to the supply base.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).
Advanced SAP user expertise required; experience with Ariba or S/4HANA highly desirable.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, bill of materials, technical drawings, and production workflows.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret SAP data and drive data‑based decisions.
Ability to work onsite full‑time in a fast‑paced, collaborative industrial setting.
Experience sourcing machined, fabricated, or electronic components.
Knowledge of quality assurance, compliance standards, and vendor qualification procedures.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and cost‑reduction initiatives.
Procurement certifications (CPSM, CIPS, or CSCP) preferred.
Working Environment and Physical Demands Full‑time, office‑based position. Collaborative work with engineering, operations, and finance teams. Hands‑on involvement with production and supplier interface. Sit/stand at a desk for prolonged periods, primarily sedentary work.
What We Offer The salary range for this role is
$114,800 to $130,300
