Overview
Food North America Manufacturing and Supply Chain Rotational Program – 2026 is designed to develop future leaders in supply chain and manufacturing. This two-year program offers two distinct tracks: Hybrid Track: Year 1 in a Protein production facility (shipping/receiving, warehouse management, food safety, engineering). Year 2 in a corporate supply chain role in Wichita, KS (planning, analytics, customer replenishment, and more). Supply Chain-Only Track: Two years in supply chain roles based in corporate settings (Wichita, KS or Minneapolis, MN), rotating through demand planning, scheduling, inventory management, and raw material procurement. This program is part of Cargill’s protein and salt business, which provides wholesome, high-quality food products to a range of customers. Environment
Plant Operations Environment: The associate will learn by performing critical tasks within production facilities. This may involve moderate physical exertion and exposures such as heat, cold, or wet conditions. Shifts may include 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekend hours during rotations. Supply Chain Environment: The year spent in a Supply Chain role exposes the associate to various areas of Cargill’s supply chain through hands-on rotations, shadowing, and cross-functional collaboration. The expected salary for this position is $67,000.00. The disclosed salary has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Rotational Associates will be based at one of the 35+ plant locations across North America, Wichita, KS, or Minneapolis, MN (Supply Chain Rotation only) Relocation is possible during the 2 years in the program The program will begin in January or June of 2026, based on graduation date Required Qualifications
Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited program in supply chain, procurement, finance, statistics, engineering, MIS, or related business field, graduating between May 2025 and May 2026 Right to work in the U.S. not based solely on a student visa or third-party sponsor Willingness to relocate to a plant location, Minneapolis, MN, or Wichita, KS Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures High initiative and resourcefulness with limited guidance Ability to contribute both as part of a team and individually Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications
