Responsibilities Working with the project team, the right candidate would be responsible for taking a leadership role on multiple projects of various scales. This would include management and production, as required, throughout all phases of any particular project.
Qualifications The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:
4 to 7 years relevant post-graduate U.S. experience
Professional Architectural or Interiors degree from an accredited institution
Experience in a wide range of projects including high-end Commercial, Amenity/Hospitality, and Corporate Interiors
Strong proficiency (at least 4 years of professional experience) with Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Sketchup and Enscape preferred
Ability to maintain and optimize the efficiency and accuracy of Revit models
Experience with and ability to structure and produce well-coordinated construction documents
Experience coordinating with consultants (MEP, Lighting, Structural, etc.) during DD, CD, and CA phases including a functional knowledge of MEP and Lighting basics
Strong knowledge of architectural detailing including comfort and familiarity with drafting custom elements
Knowledge of applicable local codes and regulations
Experience with all aspects of Construction Administration including coordination with trades and consultants in field, site surveys, submittal and shop drawing review, and construction sketches
Familiarity with sourcing of materials and specifications
Experience and comfort with running a project from initial concept through Construction Administration under supervision of a Project Manager including mentoring of Junior staff
Ability to multi‑task and manage various projects accordingly
Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, and contractors
Ability to translate concepts into real‑world constructible designs
Strong design, communication, organizational and collaborative skills
Talented in preparation of presentation materials with clear graphic communication
Engaged team‑player who supports peers
Hard‑working, detail‑oriented, and independently motivated with ambition to work toward the most resolved version of the task at hand
Desire and ability to work in a fast‑paced and rigorous environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
Ability to travel within ATL metro area for regular site visits, surveys, and meetings
