Overview

CelLink is developing next-generation flexible circuit interconnects that power the world’s most advanced electric vehicles and energy systems. We’re looking for a hands-on CAD Designer with strong ECAD experience to help turn complex electrical designs into manufacturable products. In this role, you’ll bridge electrical and mechanical design, creating high-precision models and drawings for flexible circuits, harnesses, and power distribution products. You’ll collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, and process engineers to ensure designs meet CelLink’s performance and quality standards. Responsibilities

Design and update 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings of flexible printed circuits (FPCs), interconnects, and harness components. Support electrical layout and ECAD documentation using tools such as Cadence Allegro, OrCAD, or similar ECAD software, ensuring consistency between electrical schematics and mechanical layouts. Translate electrical design intent into accurate mechanical representations for manufacturing. Incorporate DFM feedback and design guidelines to ensure manufacturability and reliability. Create and maintain engineering documentation, including BOMs, fabrication drawings, and revision-controlled data packages. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Manufacturing, and Quality) to resolve design and build issues. Perform CAD data transfer and integration between ECAD and MCAD systems. Support prototype builds, design reviews, and release processes. Work effectively with teams across multiple time zones. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications

3+ years of CAD design experience, ideally in electrical, automotive, or electronics manufacturing environments. Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks or NX preferred) and strong working knowledge of ECAD tools (Cadence Allegro, OrCAD, or equivalent). Experience working with flex circuits, wire harnesses, or PCB assemblies. Understanding of electrical schematics, component placement, and circuit routing constraints. Familiarity with GD&T, stack-up analysis, and mechanical drafting standards. Experience managing large assembly files and integrating ECAD/MCAD data. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to documentation accuracy. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Compensation

Salaried Exempt — $90,000–$100,000 + stock option, with final salary determined by experience and level. We’re hiring for multiple positions and will align compensation accordingly. Working Conditions

Physical Demands – Office and Manufacturing Environment. The role requires talking, hearing, and frequent use of hands; ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks as needed. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment includes typical office settings and a shop environment with exposure to high noise, moving equipment, nuisance dust, and chemical exposure. PPE such as safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, and clean-room attire may be required in accordance with safety procedures. Equal Opportunity
