A reputable Texas-based general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead light‑industrial/commercial projects in the Dallas‑Fort Worth area. This role is ideal for a hands‑on PM with experience in ground‑up retail or industrial construction, or in industrial‑to‑office conversion projects.
About the Role The Project Manager will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will coordinate teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution and high‑quality results.
Responsibilities
Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, from planning through completion
Oversee budgets, schedules, and project documentation
Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients
Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications
Lead project meetings and proactively resolve challenges in the field
Provide regular reporting to senior management and clients
Qualifications
5–12+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
Ground‑up retail or industrial construction, OR
Industrial‑to‑office conversions
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
