Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a high-tech business area focusing on software and hardware system integration, cutting-edge research and development, and manufacturing. Our work involves delivering architectures, designs, testing, and production of current and next-generation systems for the Department of Defense, providing advanced capabilities in target detection, acquisition, and prosecution. We are a technology leader in numerous areas including technology insertion, acoustic sensors, signal processing, guidance, cyber security, and high-reliability systems.
Responsibilities
Design and analyze AC-DC and DC-DC power systems and power control.
Integrate, test, troubleshoot, and verify electrical hardware.
Design and develop analog circuits, including amplifiers, filters, power supplies, and signal conditioning circuits.
Develop and implement VHDL code for hardware description and design.
Design and troubleshoot high-speed digital circuits and systems.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Expertise in power system design:
DC/DC:
Buck
Boost
LDO
AC/DC
Proficiency with communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet.
Experience with multilayer PCB design.
Design of safety significant circuits.
Background in automotive, medical, or defense industries.
Proficiency in VHDL for hardware description and design.
Experience in high-speed digital design.
Additional Requirements This position is 100% on-site in Canonsburg, PA.
