THIS POSITION IS IN RENTON, WASHINGTON. Occupational Summary:

The Field Service Technician II provides on-site support at the Air Framer for Safran Aerospace Seats related to interiors manufactured in USA, France, and Great Britain. The team assists Air Framer / Airline customers during aircraft build, addressing installation issues, damaged parts, reworking pickups, cosmetic defects, and customer relations issues. Rework areas include Receiving, BFE, Factory, and Flight line for all built Aircraft with Safran Seats product. All rework must adhere to Safran Seats drawings, specifications, and instructions. The position works under general supervision, reporting to the OSS Manager daily, handling moderately complex issues and referring more complex problems to higher-level technicians. Essential Functions:

Rework and stamp pickups identified by Air Framer or customer during aircraft build. Replace/troubleshoot electronic components and damaged parts, adjust misaligned panels/trim, assist seat installation team. Maintain high-quality workmanship. Respond promptly to communication with Air Framer personnel and customers. Maintain good rapport with personnel and customers. Follow safety guidelines at all times. Submit accurate part orders and understand POA/SOA processes. Drive company van safely around facilities. Attend daily standup/tie-in meetings. Adhere to training requirements related to Flight line and Safety. Coordinate with QA, Engineers, Leads, Technicians, and other personnel daily. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements

Qualification Requirements:

Education & Qualification:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred. Work Experience:

At least 2 years of related troubleshooting and repair experience. Professional Skills:

Mechanical ability, knowledge of CMMs, engineering drawings, basic computer skills, familiarity with MS Office, smartphone/tablet usage, valid driver's license, ability to obtain passport. Behavioral Skills:

Efficient under stress, follow instructions, excellent communication, flexible working hours, multitasking ability, travel readiness, written communication skills, clear speech and hearing. Desirable:

Electrical troubleshooting, participation in continuous improvement, clear communication. Travel:

International and domestic travel, approximately 2-4 weeks per year. Company Information
