. Job Title: Field Service Technician II Location: Everett, WA Zip Code: 98203 Pay Rate: $65k - $71k/hr. Start Date: Immediate Source: Belcan Field Service Technician II opportunity in Everett, WA Responsibilities
Rework and stamp pickups self-identified and/or written by Air Framer and/or customer during the build of the Aircraft. Replace/troubleshoot faulty electronic components and other damaged parts, adjust misaligned panels/trim pieces, assist the Air Framer seat installation team and perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned. Maintain a high quality level of workmanship at all times. Respond promptly to all communications with Air Framer personnel and customers. Maintain a good rapport with Air Framer personnel and customers. Follow Client / Air Framer safety guidelines or processes established by the organization at all times. Submit accurate part order requests and understand the POA / SOA process at Air Framer. Drive company van and other technicians safely around Air Framer/Client facilities. Attend Client's daily standup/tie-in meeting. Adhere to Air Framer training requirements related to Flight line, Safety and other courses throughout the year. Coordinate verbally with QA, Engineers, Leads, Technicians and other Air Framer personnel daily. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education & Qualification High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in a related technical field preferred. Work Experience - Technical knowledge At least 2 years of Field Service experience related to troubleshooting and repairs required. Professional Skills Natural mechanical ability with hand and power tools Basic working knowledge of CMMs, Engineering Drawings and other technical documents Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office applications Proficient using smartphones/tablets daily to send emails, photos and other applications Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport Behavioral Skills Ability to work efficiently under stressful situations Follows instructions and completes jobs in a timely manner Customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication Availability to work various hours, after hours and weekends as needed Ability to manage multiple tasks from more than one customer daily Willingness to travel to other Air Framer FALs in other states and international Client sites occasionally Ability to generate written communication and operate required office equipment Ability to read and review written communication Clear spoken and written English communication Desirable Aspects Hands-on electrical troubleshooting knowledge (voltage testing and continuity) Participation in continuous improvement efforts Clear written and verbal communication Equal Opportunity Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
