Anistar is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to assist with service tickets, termination, and testing of voice and data cables, as well as security equipment. Job Responsibilities: Processing service tickets for commercial environments Pulling and routing CAT5 or CAT6 cables in new construction and existing commercial structures Terminating data jacks Conducting site surveys of cabling, power, and equipment Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks) Pulling, routing, installing, and terminating structured cabling infrastructure Running daily reports Ideal Candidate Qualifications: Minimum 2+ years’ experience installing and servicing voice, data, or security systems in commercial settings Experience with routers, switches, and firewalls Ownership of basic telecom tools: punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, hard hat, boots, safety glasses Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC standards High character and integrity Excellent communication and customer service skills Willingness to travel Computer skills for reporting We offer referral bonuses!
