Electrical Engineer II

to join their multidisciplinary engineering and construction team in Tysons Corner, VA. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact infrastructure projects, working alongside experienced engineers and project leaders to deliver innovative and reliable electrical systems. Responsibilities

Originate and execute detailed electrical designs with limited supervision, including:

Medium and low voltage power distribution systems Emergency power systems including generators and UPS Lighting layouts and calculations Equipment specifications and installation methods

Coordinate device locations with other trades and disciplines. Perform electrical system analysis including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, cable pulls, and duct bank heating. Document design work using AutoCAD and Revit (2D and 3D). Support construction activities including RFIs, submittal reviews, and technical operations support. Mentor and assign tasks to entry-level engineers. Manage project deliverables as lead engineer on smaller or less complex projects. Participate in design meetings and owner/contractor coordination. Travel to project sites as needed. Ensure quality control of your own work and that of junior team members. Assist in defining scopes, schedules, and budgets for engineering support. Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Physical Sciences from an accredited program. Minimum 2+ years of experience in building power system design or commissioning. Proficient in Revit and MS Office. Familiarity with electrical design responsibilities and workflows. Preferred Qualifications

EIT certification and ability to pursue PE licensure within 2 years. Experience in mission-critical, healthcare, industrial, transportation, pharmaceutical, or federal sectors. Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering analysis tools (AGI32, SKM, ETAP). Eligible for DoD security clearance. Advanced degrees or certifications such as:

LEED, DBIA, CEM, CPQ, LC, CLEP, CAPM, NICET
