We’re seeking a
Mechanical Design Engineer
to join our growing team and help shape innovative building and component designs that blend performance, functionality, and manufacturability. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed
2D drawings and 3D models
for complex components and assemblies using
CAD software . Manage project data with strict version control, ensuring all design documentation is accurate and up to date. Translate
customer specifications —including performance goals, materials, and manufacturing requirements—into robust, manufacturable designs. Collaborate closely with
program managers, engineers, and client representatives
to align design deliverables with project timelines and expectations. Conduct
packaging and interference analyses
for assemblies, ensuring proper clearances and fit within complex systems. Review designs for
manufacturing feasibility
and compliance with materials, finishes, and process guidelines. Support
engineering validation and testing
activities, providing design updates and technical input as needed. Participate in
design reviews , presenting concepts and progress to both internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications
3–5 years
of hands-on experience in
building systems design , such as structural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical hardware/routing, or interior/exterior components. Proficiency in
Autodesk Revit
and
BIM Collaborate
preferred. Candidates with
CATIA V5
or
Siemens NX
experience in building or component design are also encouraged to apply. Familiarity with
single-family residential design
is a plus. A
Bachelor’s degree
in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field—or equivalent technical certification and relevant experience. Strong communication and collaboration skills with a keen eye for design precision and manufacturability. Seniority level
