Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer Join Boeing as an Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK. This role is focused on airworthiness certification, integration, and guidance development within BDS programs.

Position Responsibilities

Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and review educational material and guidance for general certification topics.

Represent BDS Engineering in collaboration on Enterprise‑wide certification discussions and workshops.

Advise program leadership, certification focus points and Technical Lead Engineers (TLEs).

Mentor current and future Certification TLEs.

Consult on NARs (Non‑Advocate Reviews), program gate reviews, or similar activities to assess project certification maturity as the BDS Engineering certification representative.

Contribute to BDS and Enterprise‑wide certification guidance documents, command media, and Applicant processes.

Author or co‑author Design Practices (DPs) and participate in Technical Design Reviews (TDRs).

Some travel to other Boeing sites may be required.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Level 3: Bachelor’s and 5+ years’ experience or Master’s and 3+ years.

Level 4: Bachelor’s and 9+ years’ experience or Master’s and 7+ years.

Level 5: Bachelor’s and 14+ years’ experience or Master’s and 12+ years.

3+ years of experience in the aerospace industry.

3+ years of experience authoring and reviewing certification plans or deliverables for military projects.

3+ years of experience technical writing.

3+ years of experience as a technical leader (e.g., TLE, BDE, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

More than 9 years of experience in the aerospace industry.

More than 14 years of experience authoring and reviewing certification plans or deliverables for military projects.

Experience in all phases of the lifecycle of a certification project.

Previous or current position as a DER, UM, or PA.

Experience communicating with ODA, FAA, or foreign regulatory agencies.

Active government clearance.

Location & Compensation Oklahoma City, OK. Salary range: Level 3 – $90,950 – $123,050; Level 4 – $111,350 – $150,650; Level 5 – $136,850 – $185,150. Applications will be accepted until Oct. 24, 2025.
