We are seeking an experienced Architectural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will integrate building systems and structural design with architectural elements to create efficient, sustainable, and safe building solutions while maintaining aesthetic values. Key Responsibilities
Design and analyze building systems integration Develop comprehensive building solutions combining architectural and engineering principles Create detailed engineering calculations and documentation Design structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Ensure building designs meet codes and regulations Prepare construction documents and specifications Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers Perform building performance analyses Conduct site inspections and construction administration Review shop drawings and submittals Develop sustainable design solutions Participate in client meetings and project presentations Required Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Architectural Engineering Professional Engineering (PE) license 5+ years of experience in building systems design Knowledge of building codes and standards Proficiency in engineering design software Experience with integrated building design Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent project management abilities Effective communication skills Preferred Qualifications
Master\'s degree in Architectural Engineering LEED AP certification • Experience with BIM technology Knowledge of energy modeling software Background in commissioning Experience with historic preservation Technical Skills
Revit/AutoCAD Energy modeling software Structural analysis software MEP systems design software Building performance simulation tools Microsoft Office Suite The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge combined with practical problem-solving abilities. Must be able to balance architectural design intent with engineering requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Should demonstrate excellence in team collaboration and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
