We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to manage and coordinate mechanical engineering projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will oversee technical aspects while managing project schedules, budgets, and resources. Key Responsibilities
Lead mechanical engineering projects from initial concept through implementation Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams Review and approve mechanical designs and drawings Manage project documentation and technical specifications Monitor project progress and ensure timeline adherence Conduct technical reviews and quality assessments Oversee contractor work and installation activities Manage project budgets and cost control Prepare progress reports and project documentation Ensure compliance with codes and standards Coordinate equipment procurement and delivery Lead project meetings and status updates Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 5+ years of mechanical project engineering experience Strong project management skills Experience with mechanical systems and equipment Knowledge of industry codes and standards Proficiency in CAD software Understanding of construction processes Excellent problem-solving abilities Strong leadership and communication skills Budget management experience Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or MBA Professional Engineering (PE) license PMP certification Experience with building automation systems Knowledge of HVAC systems Experience with energy efficiency projects Multi-site project management experience Technical Skills
AutoCAD/Revit MEP Project management software Microsoft Office Suite Cost estimation tools Energy modeling software Construction documentation The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge combined with excellent project management skills. Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards. Should demonstrate leadership abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. Experience with construction management and mechanical systems is essential, as is the ability to balance technical requirements with project constraints.
