About Our Team Lenovo's Cloud Service Provider Group (CSP) is seeking an Electrical Engineer for server product development. This position is based in Morrisville, NC. What You'll Do Assist the System Lead and Senior EE engineer with design feasibility studies and complete design concept proposals. Design hardware solutions for the platform and system. Collaborate with other hardware engineers or outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions. Conduct feasibility studies, design margins, validation analyses, and empirical testing on the designs. Apply developed subject matter knowledge to design, analyze, develop, modify, and evaluate key components of the platform, including integration of sub-systems, firmware, and hardware. Ensure integrated circuitry adheres to engineering principles and development practices. Work with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement parameters and test plans, including validation of hardware quality, mechanical tolerances, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, thermal management, and power distribution. Evaluate the reliability of materials, properties, designs, and techniques from prototype to production. Execute hardware validation, bug tracking, and troubleshooting. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Server experience or computer architecture experience. 7+ years of relevant experience.
