V2X Inc is seeking a skilled CBA Aircraft Mechanic I to support daily flight operations on the F-18 platform at China Lake, CA. The role focuses on ground support services, aircraft maintenance, and safety compliance to maintain high readiness for naval aviation missions. Responsibilities

Direct incoming and outgoing aircraft near the terminal area and flight line to assist pilot maneuvering on the ground, using hand or light signals or driving light trucks with guiding signals. Secure aircraft in parking position using chocks and tie-downs. Operate service vehicles to replenish fuel, oil, water, waste system chemicals, oxygen, hydraulic fluid, and remove waste. Enter maintenance records describing the servicing performed. Operate ground support equipment such as electrical power supply, tow tractors, aircraft jacks, hydraulic jenny, and engine starting units. Examine tires for specified air pressure and condition; remove and replace defective tires. Position and remove boarding platforms to unload or load aircraft passengers. Unload and load luggage, cargo, and ordnance using tow trucks and luggage carts; clean exterior and interior of aircraft wings and assemblies using portable platform ladders, brushes, rags, water hose, cleaning compound applicator, and mobile vacuum. May install drag chutes or retrieve them and send them to the parachute shop for repacking. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on applicable T/M/S aircraft and support the daily flight schedule. Shall be licensed to drive and operate Ground Support Equipment. Qualifications

Minimum of two years of O-Level maintenance experience in the specific T/M aircraft, with the F-18 as the primary platform. Military VMET or JST experience required; application must include documentation. Completed appropriate Navy Skill Specialty T/M Class "C" school in airframe, electronic, avionics, hydraulic, or power plant training or equivalent USMC/USCG equivalent. Minimum two years T/M experience within the last two years. Valid driver’s license. Must be certified Plane Captain in accordance with government approved certification for each applicable T/M/S aircraft. Capability to operate ground support equipment and maintain aircraft safety standards. Compensation and Benefits
