Position Overview StepStone is seeking a customer‑centric, detail‑oriented professional to join a team that manages fund operations and client relations for U.S. 33‑Act, 40‑Act closed‑end funds, international Cayman feeders and alternative investment funds. The role requires strong investment‑operations knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions

Manage daily operations, including redemptions and dividend processes for offshore funds (with a focus on Cayman feeders) to support investor services.

Understand and navigate jurisdictional rules for distribution and product structures.

Coordinate with fund vendors on investor access, communications, reporting and account set‑up/maintenance.

Participate in educational calls with offshore distribution partners and/or clients.

Collaborate with internal departments (fund accounting, tax, compliance, distribution, legal) to address fund and investor inquiries.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, management or a related field.

One year or more of experience in financial services (private equity, operations or client relations) required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using Adobe Acrobat.

High motivation with initiative, independence and adaptability.

Meticulous analytical and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Customer‑service orientation.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Acute attention to accuracy and detail.

Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to prioritize activities while handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and SharePoint.

Fluent Spanish (verbal and written) preferred; multilingual experience a plus.

Team‑oriented yet self‑driven.

Interest in global financial markets and international business experience.

Strong work ethic and flexible work schedule.

Salary Range The salary range is an estimate of pay for this position and may vary depending on location, education, skill and experience. Actual pay may differ. The range does not include benefits or other compensation.
