You will be working with a manufacturer company within the Automotive industry in Kentucky. They are one of the world's leading automotive suppliers globally. You will join them as an Automation Engineer to design, implement and optimise the automation systems. Design and develop automation solutions, including robotics, conveyors, and control systems. Program and integrate PLC, SCADA, and vision systems for manufacturing processes. Create system layouts, schematics, and process documentation. Integrate automation with existing production equipment and data systems. Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve the performance of automated machinery. Support cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements. Lead automation projects from concept through installation and validation. Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles. Stay current with emerging automation technologies to enhance efficiency and reliability. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field). 3-5+ years of experience in automation or controls engineering. Proficient in PLC programming and control system design. Hands-on experience with robotics, SCADA, HMI, and vision systems. Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Location & Work Authorization
