We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Industrial Automation Engineer
to design, implement, and maintain automation solutions that optimize manufacturing and production processes. The role involves working with PLCs, SCADA, robotics, and control systems to improve efficiency, reliability, and safety across industrial operations. The Industrial Automation Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers to deliver innovative automation solutions that support organizational goals. Key Responsibilities
Design, program, and troubleshoot
PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
for industrial automation.
Develop and implement control strategies for
manufacturing equipment and production lines .
Integrate robotics, sensors, drives, and instrumentation into automated systems.
Perform
system testing, debugging, and validation
to ensure performance and compliance.
Prepare and maintain
technical documentation
such as wiring diagrams, control schematics, and operating manuals.
Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automation systems.
Work with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Identify opportunities for
process optimization, cost savings, and continuous improvement .
Ensure compliance with
safety regulations, codes, and industry standards .
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in
Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field .
Hands-on experience with
PLC programming
(Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, Mitsubishi).
Proficiency in
HMI/SCADA platforms
(Wonderware, Ignition, WinCC, GE Cimplicity).
Knowledge of
industrial communication protocols
(Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, Profinet).
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience with
robotics integration
(Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa).
Knowledge of
safety PLCs, emergency systems, and interlocks .
Familiarity with
pneumatics, hydraulics, and drive systems .
Exposure to
manufacturing industries
such as automotive, oil & gas, or pharmaceuticals.
