NA QTC Manager, Contract and Pricing Operations

Position Overview Reporting to the Associate Director, Contracts and Pricing Operations, the Manager leads a centralized team responsible for pricing and contract operations within BD’s Global Business Services (GBS) organization. This role collaborates closely with Commercial, Finance, and key stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant pricing and contract execution across the BD Interventional portfolio.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coach the pricing and contract operations team, driving execution excellence.
Implement key business decisions and deliver all service levels for contract and pricing process timeliness and accuracy.
Hire, onboard, coach, and develop the new Pricing & Contract Operations BDI team, aligning team execution with pricing and contract processes.
Ensure accurate execution of LOC, CS&M, GPO transitions, and local contracts for new and renewal agreements.
Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to pricing activation and membership.
Collaborate with distributor partners, GPOs, business unit sales teams, commercial operations pillars, and commercial customers to support sales growth.
Partner with functional counterparts to align pricing strategies and contract terms.
Maximize utilization of automation and digital enterprise tools for efficient pricing and contract processes.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations across all pricing and contract activities.
Monitor performance metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Communicate risks, mitigation strategies, and progress updates to the Associate Director.
Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing, contracts, commercial operations, or GBS.
Proven experience leading process transitions.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with I5, Vistex, and pricing systems preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Position Preferences
Six Sigma or Lean certification.
Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce, JDE or other enterprise systems.
