Responsibilities

Manage all concept and design aspects of small to medium multi‑discipline planning projects and serve as design manager on large complex projects. Coordinate the work of engineers and balance team planning throughout project development. Establish client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings. Review regulatory compliance with agencies to ensure code compliance. Conduct work sessions for design development and contract documents with staff. Track financial aspects of projects and coordinate effort to stay within scope, schedule, and budget. Work with Business/Accounting Manager and project coordinators for reviews and company management as needed. Create contract drawings and documents according to HDR’s quality standards. Provide construction phase services such as submittals, shop drawings, and RFI review, coordination, and correspondence. Manage technical components of pursuits and collaborate with marketing to produce high‑quality pursuit documents. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications

Strong technical writing and presentation skills. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. 7 years related experience. Minimum 2 years project management experience. Professional engineering license recognized by the local licensing board (PE or equivalent). MS Office and MS Project experience required; Access experience is a plus. Demonstrated leadership skills.
