Job Summary

The Operations Lead (OL) oversees store processes and supports an active selling culture by ensuring that all aspects are maintained to documented company standards designed to drive sales. The OL provides expertise in all operation processes including opening, closing, training, and delegation of tasks while demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

The Operations Lead performs all store opening, closing, and Front-End processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution, operational readiness, troubleshooting, team management, conditioning, and housekeeping, while ensuring building, assets, and team member security.

The OL coordinates directly with the Operations Manager to maximize staffing effectiveness that supports traffic, sales, and the customer experience, including compliance with company policies, meeting labor standards, customer interaction standards, and business metrics.

The OL participates in task management by planning and executing daily/weekly zone workloads and assigning tasks to meet store, department, sales, and guest engagement goals.

The Operations Lead supports the store team in customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention, expense control, and customer experience to ensure effective and profitable store operations.

The OL drives productivity through training, coaching, planning, monitoring, and performance appraisal.

The Operations Lead uses daily interactions and team huddles to communicate and teach/train topics that enhance the customer experience.

The OL processes freight, stocks, and maintains a neat, clean, organized store, including down stocking and end cap maintenance.

All other duties are based on business needs.

Nights and weekends are required.

Qualifications & Competencies

At least 18 years old.

High School Diploma/Equivalent.

Excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. or team lift 100 lbs.

Effective working independently and within a team.

Strong attention to detail.

Reliable and trustworthy with ethical and honest behavior.

Creates a sense of urgency, promotes teamwork, delegates appropriately, motivates self and team.

Ability to train, develop, motivate, and lead in a safe and fun environment.

Flexible and creative with multitasking skills.
