Job Summary The Operations Lead (OL) oversees store processes and supports an active selling culture by ensuring that all aspects are maintained to documented company standards designed to drive sales. The OL provides expertise in all operation processes including opening, closing, training, and delegation of tasks while always demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. Key Roles & Responsibilities The Operations Lead performs all store opening, closing, and Front-End processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution, and operational readiness, providing troubleshooting, team management, conditioning, and housekeeping, while ensuring building, assets, and team member security. The OL coordinates directly with the Operations Manager to maximize staffing effectiveness that supports traffic, sales, and the customer experience, including compliance with company policies, meeting labor standards, customer interaction standards, and business metrics. The OL participates in task management by planning and executing daily/weekly zone workloads and assigning tasks to meet store, department, sales goals, and guest engagement objectives, ensuring timely completion. The Operations Lead supports the store team in areas such as customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention, expense control, and customer experience to ensure effective and profitable store operations. The OL drives productivity through training, coaching, planning, monitoring, and performance appraisal. The Operations Lead uses daily interactions and team huddles to communicate and train on topics that enhance the customer experience. The OL participates in freight processes for incoming freight and transitions, including stocking, down-stocking, and end cap maintenance, maintaining a neat and organized store environment. All other duties are based on business needs. Nights and weekends are required. Qualifications & Competencies At least 18 years old. High School Diploma or equivalent. Excellent verbal, written, and comprehension communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs or team lift 100 lbs. Effective independently and within a team. Strong attention to detail. Reliable, trustworthy, and ethical. Creates urgency, promotes teamwork, delegates appropriately, and motivates self and team. Ability to train, develop, motivate, and lead in a positive work environment. Flexible and creative in handling multiple tasks with shifting priorities. Seniority level
