Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with various design engineering execution teams across the US and abroad Under general supervision, perform all aspects of mechanical system design engineering and analysis for assigned systems of responsibility Acquire knowledge of both Black & Veatch and industry standards and implement them in project development Prepare moderately complex engineering deliverables, conduct research, and develop project design recommendations Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Instrument and/or Service Air Systems Demineralized (DM) water supply and make up systems Service and potable water supply systems Natural, hydrogen, and nitrogen gas supply systems Closed cycle cooling water systems High/Intermediate/Low/auxiliary steam systems Feedwater and condensate systems CO2 supply systems Pipe sizing calculations, pipe thickness, pump sizing, control valve sizing, heat exchanger sizing, atm. tank sizing, etc. P&ID development Air, gas, water & steam systems typically involved in design and engineering work Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent engineering experience Minimum of 5 years related work experience Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries Certifications

Typical office environment with potential for site visits; may involve sitting for long periods and some physical tasks during site visits Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days depending on manager discretion, performance, and assignments Compensation and Benefits
