Responsibilities
Analyze and test raw materials, in-process and finished product samples using QC methods and instrumentation.
Develop, implement and maintain quality control systems and activities.
Validate and analyze results per USP, BP, EP, ICH and US FDA regulations; develop/implement validation protocols and test procedures.
Perform in-process inspection, document results and conduct inspections, checks, tests and sampling for the manufacturing process.
Calibrate and verify critical laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
Draft/update inspection procedures and checklists compliant with ICH guidelines and US FDA regulations.
Work with advanced analytical equipment such as HPLC, GC, DSC and IR, applying knowledge of a broad range of QC and analytical techniques.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in chemistry, microbiology, biomedical engineering, pharmacy or related field.
2 years of relevant work experience required.
