At Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, we deliver humankindness through a wide range of health, social and support services in Phoenix, Arizona. The Lung Transplant/Thoracic ICU supports Norton Thoracic Institute, the only stand-alone lung transplant center in the Nation. Our 24-bed ICU supports adult thoracic post-surgical patients and medically managed respiratory disorders. We offer 12-hour shifts, self-scheduling, and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1. The ICU is fast-paced with learning opportunities and leadership support.
Position Summary Assess patient/family health problems and resources, leading development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care. Provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult populations. Requires caring for one or more age groups from young adults through geriatrics, with understanding of developmental age. Supports the organization’s Mission and Core Values and participates in the hospital\'s performance improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements Minimum
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
AZ RN license (or compact state license).
One year recent acute care experience.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Preferred
BSN
Professional certification in area of specialty

Pay Range $35.00 - $58.63 /hour
