in Baltimore, MD is hiring for a

Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist (CVRT)

in the

Cath Lab . Schedule: 10-hour shifts Monday - Friday 13-week contract Pay Range:

$85/hour Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic procedures in Radiology, including interventional angiographic, diagnostic, and cardiac catheterization procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all equipment, including patient monitoring devices. Provide care appropriate to the patient’s age. Assist physicians during procedures. Select catheters and guide wires, prepare contrast material using a power injector. Prepare the room with appropriate equipment and films. Prepare patients for procedures, explain procedures, and obtain preliminary films. Process and assemble films for interpretation. Follow radiation safety procedures for yourself and the patient. Perform basic nursing functions, including recording vital signs. Identify arrhythmias and notify physicians. Accurately identify films by anatomical site and patient identity. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program. Required radiologic technologist license in Maryland and ARRT certification, or RCIS certification in place of license and ARRT. Current BLS CPR certification.
