Responsibilities
Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
Guide patients through the exam process by kindly explaining steps and answering questions and concerns.
Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information; demonstrate competency in privacy and security.
Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and legal requirements.
Respect company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers; respond to the needs of others.
Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
You Are
Genuinely passionate about patient care and able to exercise sound judgement and maintain professionalism in all situations.
Able to communicate effectively, with interpersonal skills and respect for patients, guests, and colleagues.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work with a structured approach, and solve problems.
To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification
State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
Must have BLS certification
At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred
