MRI Technologist , you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders—patients, providers, payors, and regulators—to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities
Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments to produce high quality images.
Guide patients through the exam process by explaining steps and addressing questions and concerns.
Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information; demonstrate competency in protecting confidentiality.
Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Demonstrate respect for company property and patient information on-site or on patient portals.
Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers; respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
You Are
Genuinely passionate about patient care and able to exercise sound judgment while remaining professional.
Capable of effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills, and respect with patients, guests, and colleagues.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a structured approach to prioritizing work and solving complex problems.
To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification
State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
Must have BLS certification
At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred
