Organization Overview Harambe Social Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Clinical Project Coordinator
to oversee and support our domestic and sexual assault services program. This position requires 30 hours per week and plays a critical role in ensuring effective coordination, delivery, and evaluation of trauma‑informed services for survivors. The coordinator will lead project planning, community partnerships, and clinical support strategies aligned with the agency’s mission to provide culturally responsive care and advocacy for survivors.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination & Oversight
Manage daily operations of the domestic and sexual assault support services program.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and grant requirements.
Monitor program deliverables and provide regular reports to funders and leadership.
Coordinate intake and referral processes to ensure timely and appropriate services.
Clinical Support & Supervision
Provide clinical oversight and support to counselors, interns, and volunteers.
Conduct case reviews and ensure adherence to trauma‑informed, survivor‑centered practices.
Assist with clinical documentation and service delivery standards.
Community Engagement & Outreach
Develop partnerships with local hospitals, law enforcement, schools, and community organizations.
Represent Harambe Social Services at coalition meetings, task forces, and public events.
Lead awareness campaigns and training sessions related to domestic and sexual violence prevention and response.
Data Management & Evaluation
Maintain accurate program records using secure client databases.
Track outcomes and performance metrics for continuous quality improvement.
Assist with grant reporting, including narrative and statistical summaries.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Public Health, or related field (required).
New Jersey Licensure (e.g., LSW, LPC, LCSW) or eligibility for clinical supervision.
Minimum 3 years of experience working with survivors of sexual violence, domestic violence, or trauma.
Certificate of 40 Hour Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocacy Training or obtain the certificate within 1 month of hire. Training cost is covered by the agency.
Strong knowledge of trauma‑informed care, crisis response, and survivor advocacy.
Experience with program coordination or project management in a nonprofit or clinical setting.
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and client database systems (e.g., Owl Practice, Simple Practice).
Ability to work some evenings or weekends as needed for events or crisis support.
Familiarity with culturally specific approaches to healing and support.
Passionate about social justice, equity, and advocacy for marginalized communities.
