Emergency Medicine Pharmacist

This is a full-time on-site role for an Emergency Medicine Night Shift Pharmacist located in Greenville, NC. ECU Health is an academic medical center that serves as the region's Level 1 Adult & Pediatric Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, along with advancing practice with the East Carolina Heart Institute. The Emergency Medicine Pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care in an emergency setting. EM Pharmacists participate in bedside clinical care for high-acuity patient care scenarios in order to provide high-quality patient outcomes. Our EM Pharmacy Team also provides education to the PGY2 EM Pharmacy resident, PGY1 pharmacy residents, students, and EM physician residents. Qualifications

Experience in collaborating with healthcare professionals and emergency response teams Patient Education and Communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree Completed pharmacy practice residency, with emergency medicine experience, or completion of residency in emergency medicine (preferred) or critical care, or similar experience ECU Health is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.
